Benzego

Benzego was formed following a trip to the United States in December of 2001.

Ben was in New Orleans and saw a band playing in a bar on Bourbon Street, a well known and historic street which spans the length of the French Quarter.

"The line-up totally blew me away," says Ben, who lived in Whitstable at the time, "so I started Benzego when I got back."

The band soon made a name for themselves on the local pub and club circuit and it wasn't long before they were on the wanted list of many venues throughout the whole of Kent.

Following Ben's success on the X Factor, and the nationwide recognition that came with it, both his and Benzego's fan base expanded considerably and the band now plays regularly in venues all around the UK.
